Corporate Social Responsibility
Our Responsibility
We appreciate the importance of leading a balanced existence. Our team members are keenly aware of the difference we as individuals and as an organisation can make to social and charitable causes. This positive influence has extended both within our community and further afield. As such, we regularly support charities and community initiatives with advice, practical assistance, participation and sponsorship.
“At Conference Partners International, the company and team both individually and collectively are committed to being responsible to the environment that we work in. This goes from sourcing suppliers that have sustainable policies in place, promoting food and beverage that recognises the importance of using local producers and leaving a positive impact on the parts of the country that we visit with our groups. We believe that by helping to create a good place to live, this will in turn create a good place to visit.“
Nicola McGrane – Managing Director
Conference Partners International will celebrating its 20th anniversary in the MICE industry in 2018 and as a result has decided to improve on its CSR and Charitable undertakings as a way to give something back. The staff in all our offices will be taking part in various activities to raise funds to some charities close to our hearts.
If you would like to follow our CSR activity on social media, we will be using the hashtag #CPIGivesBack

Christmas Charity Initiatives
Conference Partners was feeling very festive this year and celebrated the 12 days of Christmas with a range of different events for staff to get us in the Christmas mood. As part of this we organised not one, but two Charity days, which gave all the staff the opportunity to support our two chosen charity initiatives for the season. These were The annual St. Vincent De Paul Giving Tree and Presents for All at Sundial House, De Paul.
Both Charities are focused around helping individuals and families effected by the homelessness crisis. The Giving Tree allowed us to donate Christmas presents for children and teenagers so they could enjoy some Christmas magic and Presents for All at Sundial house focused on providing nice cosy winter clothes for all the service users at Sundial House, De Paul, Ireland.
The support from the all the staff at Conference Partners was overwhelming. Colleagues brought their specially chosen gifts into the office for sorting and packing. We then sent our Elves into the SVP head office and to Sundial House in the city centre with a boot full of presents for distribution.
CPI were proud to participate in this charity initiative and thank our team members for their generosity.
Temple Street Hospital
Our staff in the Dublin Office took part in The Great Irish Bake which raises much needed funds for Temple Street Children’s Hospital. We were delighted to spend the week eating delicious treats but even more so to raise over 118euro for the cause.
FGM
Having been involved in organising the conference on Women’s Mental Health in 2017, some of our team learned about the harrowing practice of female genital mutilation and the trauma caused on its victims. As a result, some of our team members began to raise funds for helping women and organisations fighting for the abolishment of the practice. During their experience at the conference, these team members were able to spend some time with FGM activists including Domtila Chesang and members of the Human Dignity Foundation, a private foundation that supports work on harmful practices and child sexual abuse.
Our team are committed to raising funds to support Domtila in building a safe house for girls to stay during the cutting season. Conference Partners International is delighted to be helping support them in their efforts and has offered to match whatever funds they raise. So far 2,739euro has been raised for the cause.
IAPCO Burundi
As a proud member of IAPCO, CPI was delighted to contribute €1000 to the amazing work done in Bubanza, Burundi, where through donations from IAPCO members we were able to build a basketball court for the community.
Daffodil Day
Our commercial director Colm O’Grady is highly involved with the Irish Cancer society and works on a collection for them every year. Members of our Dublin office were happy to help out with purchasing mugs, pens, notepads etc. and donations to the cause. In total we raised 296 which the CPI agreed to match bringing the total to 592.
